Zionism - General Allenby enters Jerusalem Zionism - Stockade and Tower Settlement History of Israel - British terror in Jerusalem History of Zionism and Israel - Danny Mass - Commander of the Convoy of 35, Murdered in January of 1945
General Allenby Enters Jerusalem, 1917 Stockade and Tower Settlement-  set up over night to circumvent Mandatory regulations. February 22, 1948. British soldiers drive 3 military vehicles carrying explosives to Ben Yehuda Street in central Jerusalem. Explosions leave 52 dead and 123 injured. Danny Mas Commander of the convoy of 35 (Lamed Heh) sent to rescue Gush Etzion, massacred in January of 1948.

Holocaust survivor ship turned back by the British, forced to return to Germany.
May 28, 1948. Ethnic cleansing: Fall of the Jewish quarter of the old city of Jerusalem to the legion. Nissan Beck synagogue is visible in the background. Jews were expelled. Gush Etzion - a look out post. Gush Etzion fell on May 15, 1948. 50 soldiers who surrendered were massacred by Palestinians.
