Software attacked
- PhPBB - forums, exploit in highlight command. Requires manual code alteration.
- B2Evolution - Blogs, no idea but even the latest version can be taken out
- Coppermine - photo gallery software, (old version) a JPG with PhP appended to it is uploaded
- YABB - Forums, PhP injection attack (not sure where)
- Post Nuke - Content Management, PhP injection attack? (not sure where)
Help wanted
While we would like to keep people updated on the security holes, attack methods and preventitive steps they should be taking, we simply don't have the resources for this at the moment. If however experts are willing to volenteer, and those who are hacked or have been int he past are willing to share details we might be able to facilitate move to stop these hackers or at least make their job that much harder.
