Patriarch of Jerusalem hoping to wriggle out of his debts in Medieval fashion, by accusing Jews?

In Anglicans for Israel, David Meir-Levi fisks Bishop Sabbah's supposedly peaceful statements.
Mr. Sabbah, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, uses the language of peace and quotes the prophets of Jewish and Christian Scripture to present an image of peace and non-violence. But if you parse his words carefully, you will see that his message is a message of support for the Arab terrorist forces that seek no peace, promise terrorism until victory, and commit to the horrific goal of destroying Israel and genociding its Jews.
Do read it. He exposes the dishonesty of the Patriarch of Jerusalem - not just dishonesty, but plain lies.
He pretends that the terror war is a non-violent demonstration, that the terrorists are freedom fighters, and that all of the blame for the current carnage is squarely and solely upon Israel.
He lies. And he shames his church with his lies.
I most sincerely urge all of you to speak out against his lies.
Christian media outlets persist in treating the Patriarch as though he were a nice, reasonable, peace-loving fellow, and intepret his venomous words as "Jerusalem church leader hails prospects for peace."
During the Middle Ages, one of the incentives for repeating the Blood Libel was that it provided an excuse to avoid paying debts.
Money lending was forbidden by the Christian church, but it was one of the few professions they permitted Jews to follow and many people owed money to the Jews, including the authorities of Lincoln Cathedral. At that time all Jews were servi camerae (chattels of the king) so any money owed to them was technically owed to the throne. But King Henry III, desperate for money had sold his rights over the Jews to the Duke of Cornwall. The only way could get his hands on their money was to have them convicted of a capital offence because the property of anyone executed was forfeit to the king. It is no coincidence that those hanged were among the wealthiest Jews in England. It also suited local people to accuse the Jews since it gave them the opportunity to ransack their houses and destroy the records of debt.
Could this be another reason (in addition to anti-Semitism and dhimmi fear of the Muslim majority) why Bishop Sabbah tries to stir up hatred against the Jews?
Churches owe Jerusalem Municipality around NIS 300m
The total amount of unpaid property tax amounts to roughly NIS 300 million, with the Latin Patriarchate the biggest offender, a city spokesman said.
So if the ‘occupation’ of Jerusalem by Jews can be brought to an end by violence or any other means, the Patriarch won’t need to repay his massive debts to them? Hmmm.
