After Arafat spent so much time sitting very close to various Church leaders, sometimes getting a little too close, holding hands or - whatever he’s doing here, it’s rather alarming to read this from Solomonia.
A New York Times review of former Democratic Party chairman Terry McAuliffe's memoir discloses this morsel:
...There are any number of humorous anecdotes sprinkled among the chest-deep pile of dropped names in the 406-page volume, including Yasir Arafat’s repeatedly rubbing Mr. McAuliffe’s leg under the table at a dinner in Washington in 2000...
Israellycool comments on the same story:
The book is full of comical revelations from McAuliffe's years among the power elite -- getting a startling leg rub from Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat at a dinner,
I like that - "a startling leg rub from Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat." Is there any other kind?
I’m glad to see Arafat's hands are where we can all see them in this picture of him sitting next to Latin Patriarch Michel Sabbah.
