Anti-Israel propaganda: coming to a city near you?

I don't know whether any Americans or Canadians read this blog, but Sabeel keeps up its anti-Israel, anti-Semitic efforts as tirelessly as ever, and is particularly active in the US - perhaps hoping to make a dent in the large support Christians in that part of the world give to Israel.
Sabeel, the Palestinian Christian "liberation theology" group known for their one-sided, hateful, anti-Jewish take on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, is holding a series of conferences in October. Most of these are supported by the usual left-leaning mainline Protestant as well as secular groups -- Episcopal Peace Fellowship, Not In My Name, Christian Peacemaker Teams, the "peace and justice" factions of the ELCA and PCUSA, etc.
A suggestion from Stand for Israel:
If you live in any of the cities where the conferences are taking place -- Chicago, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Denver and Toronto -- and are a member of a mainline denomination church, check to see if your church or regional governing body is sponsoring any of these conferences. (For instance, the Chicago conference is co-sponsored by the Middle East Task Force of the Chicago Presbytery). Clicking the link above will take you to a website where you find sponsors of these events. If they are, be sure to let them know what you think about the use of denominational funds to support hateful, anti-Israel propaganda.
