The lessons of Gaza are powerful, but we close our eyes and talk as if nothing really important happened. We are so used to Arabs killing one another we close our eyes to it -again.
Palestinian journalist Abdelbari Atwan, writing in the London-based Al Quds International, "I never thought the day would come when we would see Palestinians throwing other Palestinians from the tops of buildings to their death, Palestinians attacking other Palestinians to tear their bodies with knives, Palestinians stripping others naked to drag them through the streets."
The wanton murders in Gaza especially, and Muslims by Muslims elsewhere, should open the eyes of even the most anti-Israeli, that Israel and the world are dealing with people who like killing.
When the Israelis say again and again for over sixty years that the Palestinians and Arabs want to “throw us to the sea”, and Iran wants to nuke us to eternity, most people ignore it. “OH” they say, it is over dramatic.
No it is not!
This is their goal! And was always their goal. And they are proceeding daily in that direction. It does not matter if it is Hamas or Fatah. Both wants the destruction of Israel, the main difference is that Hamas is more aggressive and willing to say it and demonstrate it openly .
And we are asleep, talking about a two state solutions. (See notes at end by General Moshe Ya'alon). Many Arabs want to murder any infidel they can. That means any one not a Muslim!
Some say it is a small minority of fanatics, it is not. It is wide spread. The murderers get wide, real support all the time. It can not be done in a vacuum. Watch the cheering Palestinians crowds in Gaza. Read about the hundred of millions donated to extremists.
The murder for murder sake is an ingrained, deeply rooted Arab mentality. It is in their culture. They do it again and again against one another and we say, it is not true, most of them are nice, quiet, peace loving people. It is not only Hamas that does it. Hamas was shooting injured in their hospital beds. Hamas was killing their Fatah prisoners for the fun of it. Read again, open your eyes, for the fun of it. They were Fatah prisoners, already captured, weapon-less. (I saw a video of actual execution of tied Fatah prisoners, it was awful. I debated but decided not send you a link to it.)
Remember, Palestinians were playing football with heads of dead Israeli soldiers when I was in Israel in 04. It was shown on Palestinians TV. Israeli have seen it, they were shocked but did not show it on TV again and again so that the world will grasp it. It was not proper to do it to the dead soldiers –Israelis said. That was a serious mistake- I believe. To save future lives you need to deal with reality and expose the madmen!
Not only that, Palestinian civilian youth were cheering the killing then. And cheering the dropping of Arab prisoners, so called their brothers, from a high rise building - now.
Many in the West are unable and unwilling to open their eyes and admit, these are not the kind of people you can sign agreements with, sign peace treaties with, since the minute they have the opportunity they will murder any one in their way and throw their body through the window, as they have been doing in Gaza.
I know we do not want to read about it, our media hides Arab atrocities, we do not want to see it. We do not know how to deal with their violent culture. If we accept that many Arabs are so fanatic than what? Our dreams of peaceful coexistence goes down the drain. Instead we hide behind our national borders and say, it has nothing to do with us. But it does.
The liberals in Europe and the US remain steadfast in their blindness, they say: If the Israelis just did that or that, we will have peace. The liberals believe that the Palestinians want their own land to live a quiet life underneath their fig laden trees.
But that is not the case. We must wake up, deal with the reality that millions of Arabs wish the US disappear, not only Israel. We the US, is the Big Satan to them- the most important enemy to destroy.

Ya'alon: Land for Peace Concept Failed - Etgar Lefkovits
The concept of land for peace is a proven failure in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and any future withdrawal of Israeli troops from the West Bank will create a "Hamastan" there too, former Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. (res.) Moshe Ya'alon said at the Shalem Center in Jerusalem on Wednesday. He said faulty conceptions included the notions that the Palestinians wanted - or were able - to establish an independent state on the 1967 borders, that a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict was the creation of two states on the 1967 borders, that land for peace should be the basis for any peace agreement, that peace would bring security, and that the key to stability in the Middle East was the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Ya'alon argued that the violent Palestinian rejection of the peace offer put forward to them at Camp David seven years ago, which would have awarded them with a Palestinian state on upwards of 95 percent of the West Bank, and the refusal of both Hamas and the more moderate Fatah to recognize the existence of a Jewish state, negated the very essence of Israeli and international policymaking. He said Israel must treat Hamas-run Gaza as an "enemy entity," and should "disengage" from being the provider of its water, electricity, and goods. At the same time, Israel should give the Fatah-run PA in the West Bank a chance to establish autonomy, while Israel would be in charge of security. (Jerusalem Post)
