Antisemitism is the world's oldest hate. It is an irrational hatred against the Jewish people because they are different. At times it was a religiously inspired hate, at times ethnic and in some places there is antisemitism despite a history completely devoid of Jews. Jeff Jacoby of The Boston Globe described Jews as the canary in Europe’s mine reflecting the fact that looking back an any intolerant society you can, as Pastor Martin Niemöller put it, observe that "first they came for the Jews". Not only Europe but other countries too are experiencing antisemitism. Europe however remains the key hot bed from academic boycots to physical attacks.
The items below are useful forum postings related to both traditional antisemitism and to the New antisemitism that tries to attack Jews and their rights while claiming Israel as an excuse.
